HOW DOES THE RADINN JETBOARD WORK?
A
The Radinn electric jetboard is driven by an impeller jetpack that sends water through a nozzle at the back of the board, providing enough thrust to move the board forward. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery. The rider controls the speed via an easy-to-use wireless hand controller with a thumb throttle.

IS IT DIFFICULT TO RIDE A RADINN JETBOARD?
A
No, electric surfboards are very easy to ride. You just need a little practice. Most riders can stand up on our boards within 30 minutes of trying them for the first time.

CAN I RIDE A RADINN JETBOARD IN WAVES AND WAKE?
A
Our Carve model is specifically designed to ride through waves. With the X-Sport and Freeride, wave and wake-riding is possible but it’s more challenging. The X-Sport and Freeride jetboards unfold their true magic in flatter waters, where riders can take full control of the board’s speed and planing capabilities.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR THE RADINN JETBOARD?

It’s important to remember that a jetboard is not a toy and some countries request that you have a boating license or similar certification for use. However, from a riding perspective, Radinn jetboards are truly for everyone as long as you know how to swim and are reasonably fit.

DO I NEED A LICENSE TO RIDE A RADINN JETBOARD?

In most cases no. However, some countries request that you have a boating license or similar certification for use, so be sure to always check the rules and regulations of the country or region in which you plan to ride.

WHAT ARE THE WEIGHT LIMITS FOR RIDING THE RADINN JETBOARD?
A
It depends on the model. The Freeride and X-Sport can carry up to 130kg/285 lbs. The Carve can carry slightly less—100kg/242lbs—due to its lighter weight and smaller size.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I FALL OFF THE BOARD WHILE RIDING
A
Our boards are designed with a safety strap that velcros around your ankle and attaches to the board via a magnetic kill switch. Should you fall off while riding, the strap will disconnect and the board will automatically turn off. When you get back on the board, you must reattach the magnet key into its fitting on the back of the board.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A JETBOARD KIT
A
A Complete Board Kit consists of a board, a jetpack, and a battery. You’ll also receive a battery charger, a boardbag, a pair of fins, a leash, a wireless hand controller and controller charger, a rinse bottle to clean the jetpack, and the Radinn User Manual. The Carve model also comes with an included footstrap kit.

DO ALL RADINN BOARD MODELS USE THE SAME JETPACK, BATTERY, AND ACCESSORIES?

Yes, our boards have a modular design which means that you can easily swap or replace parts.The board hulls come in different models but the jetpack, battery, and accessories are the same for all of them.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SPEED OF THE RADINN JETBOARD?
A
The maximum speed of the jetboard depends on your board model and the performance level of your jetpack, as well as the rider’s weight, the level of charge of the battery, and the water conditions. Our Standard setting can reach top speeds of 44 kmh/27 mph on the Freeride and 42 kmh/26 mph on the Carve. Our PRO setting can reach top speeds of 56 kmh/35 mph on the Freeride and 52 kmh/32 mph on the Carve. Our UNLEASHEDTM setting can reach up to 60 kmh / 37 mph.
